Nicole Ouellette, NP

Nicole is a certified nurse practitioner who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Massachusetts Amherst and then continued her education at UMASS to obtain a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with Family Nurse Practitioner Certification. She has many years of experience working as a registered nurse on a medical-surgical floor at a community hospital, followed by home care experience as a nurse practitioner, before she realized her passion for the field of neurology. For the last 4.5 years, she has worked doing general neurology in an office setting while also providing neurology consultations at a local hospital and Assisted Living Facility with ongoing care management. Her background has provided her with insight into the barriers in the home environment that can make it difficult to implement the medical plan and uses that knowledge to try to implement successful treatment plans. She strives to provide compassionate, person and family centered care, and to meet patients where they are in their medical journey, while providing education and tools to help patients choose a plan that they are comfortable with related to their medical needs.
